Hornel’s Music of the Woods

A reproduction of Hornel’s ‘Music of the Woods’ has just been released on to the website by Ian Middleton. It measures 40×30 inches and will be the largest painting on display at his forthcoming exhibition of the work of the Glasgow Boys. The original work is considered one of Hornel’s finest achievements and the reproduction is a very accurate and faithful copy. Details of the sale price of this impressive reproduction painting have not yet been released but at around 400 hours of work having been expended to produce a truly museum grade work, it is unlikely to come cheap!
